Richards Sheet Metal maintains a welding program utilizing qualified welding procedures and processes in accordance with industry accepted codes. We work primarily in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Our staff of welding engineers and in-house welding inspectors—certified by the American Welding Society and ISO—oversee all welding activities and personnel in accordance with established codes and standards. Visual Inspection (VT), Liquid Penetrant testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle testing (MP) are performed by Richards’ inspectors. Other methods of non-destructive examination are performed by qualified and audited third-party inspection services.
